What changed for sellers shipping to the US
The Supreme Court struck down the IEEPA tariffs on 20 February 2026, and the temporary 10 percent Section 122 surcharge that followed expired on 24 July 2026. In their place, Section 301 forced-labor duties have applied since 24 July 2026. Some countries pay a flat 10 or 12.5 percent on top of the normal rate. For the EU, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan the rate is a cap that includes the normal rate, so only the gap is added. Books and prints are exempt, goods that pay Section 232 are excluded, and USMCA-qualifying goods from Mexico and Canada pay nothing extra. China also keeps its older List 1 to 4A duties.
De minimis has been suspended for every country since 29 August 2025 and the law repeals it on 1 July 2027. Since 24 July 2026 postal parcels use informal entry, and from 22 October 2026 most dutiable postal items will need a broker or qualified party. The fee for that is not known yet. The EU charges 3 euros per tariff line from 1 July 2026 until 1 July 2028. The UK keeps its 135 pound threshold until 2028. Etsy has expected non-US sellers to ship to US buyers delivered duty paid since 9 July 2026.
How DDP pricing works
Under DDP the seller carries the cost of duty. You can absorb it, or you can raise the price so the buyer pays it as part of the item. The estimate is simple: the duty is the item price multiplied by the duty rate, and the duty rate is the rate for the product category plus any surcharge that applies to the country of origin.
The fee on the duty trap
Marketplaces and payment processors charge a percentage of the total the buyer pays. When you add duty to the price, they charge their percentage on the duty as well. On Etsy that is the transaction fee plus the payment processing fee, so every 8 dollars of duty added to the price costs you about 76 cents of extra fees. Switching on keep my net makes the tool add the duty and then gross the price up so that what you keep after fees and duty is the same as before.
Two ways to declare the value
Mode A declares the goods value without the duty, so the duty is charged only on the original price. Mode B declares what the buyer paid, so duty is charged on the duty as well, and the tool solves for the price that still leaves you whole. Both numbers show in every row.
How to use the tool
Pick the marketplace, the country you ship to and the country the goods come from. Choose a default category, then upload your CSV. Each row can use its own category and duty rate. The download adds a new price and a short note on what changed.
Estimate, not a customs ruling, last updated . These results are estimates from a dated table of rates, not a customs ruling. Classification, valuation and the rules change often, so confirm important prices with your carrier or a customs broker.

Questions
Is this a customs ruling?
No. It is an estimate from a dated rate table. Your real duty depends on the exact tariff classification, the value declared and the rules in force on the day. Check a result with your carrier or a customs broker before you rely on it.
Does my CSV leave my computer?
No. The file is read and priced inside your browser. This page does not upload your file; the only requests are for its own rate and code files. There is no account and no tracking.
What is DDP?
Delivered duty paid. The duty and import charges are settled before delivery, so the buyer pays nothing at the door. Excludes VAT, sales tax, brokerage and carrier fees; duty only. The seller carries the cost, usually by building it into the price.
Why does the fee on the duty matter?
Marketplace and payment fees are charged on the whole amount the buyer pays. If duty is added to the price, you pay the percentage fee on the duty too. The tool adds that to the price so your net does not shrink.
What does the keep my net toggle do?
With it on, the new price is the old price plus the duty grossed up for the fee, so what you keep after fees and duty equals what you kept before. With it off, the price is the old price plus the duty plus the fee on the duty.
How are EU shipments handled?
The EU introduced a flat 3 euro duty per tariff line on low-value parcels from 1 July 2026. The tool multiplies that by the number of tariff lines in the item and converts it with the euro rate you enter.
Can I change the rates?
Yes. Every duty rate in the results table and the fee rate can be edited. Edited values are used for that row. The CSV does not mark them, so keep your own note of any you change.
Which files work?
An Etsy listings CSV export and a Shopify products CSV export. The tool detects which one it is from the header. Prices are treated as being in the file's own currency.
