Privacy policy
We store little. Page-view counts hold a date, a page and a host, never an address. The shop keeps a payment reference, your email, the amount and a download count. The free tools store nothing. We never sell personal data. Write to support@raidandev.org to see or delete what we hold about you.
Website and page counts
- Server logs. Like any web server, ours record the address, browser type, page requested and time. We use them only for security and troubleshooting, and they are deleted after 14 days.
- Page-view counts. A small script counts which pages are opened. Each count stores the date, the page path and the host name. It stores no address, builds no profile, and respects Do Not Track. A notice lets you switch it off.
- Cookie. The only cookie the counter sets holds your answer to that notice (kept for a year). It has no identifier. We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
The shop
When you buy in the shop, Stripe takes the payment. We keep the Stripe session and payment ids, the email you gave Stripe, the amount, the product and version, and the number of downloads, for as long as the licence exists, so we can honour re-downloads and refunds. Card details stay with Stripe.
Gumroad purchases
When you buy on Gumroad, Gumroad takes the payment and holds your card details. What it shares with us is set by Gumroad and its terms. In practice that is your email address, the product, the price paid and the date. We use it to answer support and to honour refunds, and we do not combine it with other data.
Free tools
The free tools run in your browser. They have no accounts, and what you type into them is not sent to us or stored. If a sponsor card appears, it is plain text with a link and loads nothing from the sponsor.
Support email
If you write to support@raidandev.org, we keep the messages and the address they came from so we can answer you and handle refunds. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Buds
- Public menu data. Buds lists dispensaries from the menus they publish for anyone to read: product names, prices, potency, lab details, specials and stock. It never signs in to a store and holds no data about a store's customers.
- Member accounts. An account holds an email address, a password hash, your cart and settings. With a paid plan, it also holds Stripe's customer and subscription ids and the plan dates. Delete your account from the account page and the account, cart and settings go at once. Clearing cookies forgets an anonymous cart.
- Stores and businesses. An owner or manager can ask us to stop collecting the store's menu, to remove the records we hold about the store, or both, by writing to support@raidandev.org from an address at the business. Removal deletes the store's stored prices, products and history; copies in our encrypted backups are overwritten as those backups rotate.
- Featured stores. Featured placement is paid advertising, labelled as such, and never changes a store's score, prices or rank.
Buds has its own privacy page on buds.deals with the same promises in more detail.
Coyoteshift and CoyoteTrack
- Business data. The apps hold the data a business enters, such as staff records, schedules and inventory. It belongs to that business. We use it to provide the service, keep it secure and contact the account holder. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use staff records for any purpose of our own.
- Beta and early access features. If a business switches on a feature marked Early access or In beta, we create anonymized data from the information that feature uses, to develop our products. Names, contact details, addresses, exact locations, identifiers and free text are removed or replaced. Messages, photos, videos, documents, job applications, payment details and passwords are never used. Anonymized data is never sold, rented or shared with anyone, and we never try to re-identify it. Switching the feature off stops it. The full rules are in the Beta and Early Access Terms inside the app.
- Outside services. Payments go through Stripe and email through an email delivery provider. A beta scheduling feature uses an outside AI service only when a user chooses to use it, and our server replaces every name, phone number, email address and location name with placeholders before anything is sent.
Cookies in the hosted apps
The hosted apps (portal, Coyoteshift, CoyoteTrack, Buds) set only the cookies they need to keep you signed in or to remember a cart, plus the page-count answer described above. None is used for advertising.
How long we keep things
| Data | Kept |
|---|---|
| Server logs | 14 days |
| Page-view counts | As counts only; they hold no personal data |
| Shop sale records | As long as the licence exists, then as the law requires for accounts |
| Support email | Until the matter is closed, then until you ask us to delete it |
| App accounts | While the account is open; a cancelled account can be exported for 30 days |
Asking for deletion or a copy
Write to support@raidandev.org from the address you used and say what you want. We confirm by email once it is done. Where we must keep a record by law, such as a sale record, we tell you which one and why. Data already anonymized cannot be traced back to you and may be kept.
No sale of data
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. We disclose data only to the processors named above for their specific job, or if the law requires it, in which case we tell you first unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
Changes
When this policy changes, we change the date at the top. A change to a promise in it is made before the behaviour changes.
