What you are buying
A one-time licence to download and use the self-hosting kit, version 0.3.1: source files and an installation guide. No hosting, no account, no recurring charge.
Licence
- Use: install and run the kit on servers you own or rent, for your own business or personal use, on as many of your own servers as you like.
- Modify: change the files as you wish for your own use.
- No resale or redistribution: do not sell, sublicense, publish or share the kit or modified versions, and do not offer it as a hosted service to others.
- Third-party software: the kit relies on separately licensed open-source software (for example age and nginx), each under its own licence, none of it included in the zip.
- No warranty: provided as is. You are responsible for securing and operating your own server.
- Liability: limited to the price you paid.
- Termination: the licence ends if you breach the resale clause.
- Law: Nevada, United States.
The zip includes LICENSE.md with the same terms.
Delivery
After payment Stripe sends you back to a page with the download link. That page is the delivery and stays valid; bookmark it. We do not email download links. If you lose the link, email us with your Stripe receipt and we will send a fresh one by hand, usually within a day.
Refunds
If the kit does not install as the guide describes on an Ubuntu 22.04 server, email us within 14 days of purchase with what you tried and we refund in full to the original payment method. Refunds for other reasons within 14 days are at our discretion, and we lean towards refunding. A refund ends the licence and the download link.
Payment and data
Payment is processed by Stripe on Stripe's own pages; card details never reach our server. We keep the Stripe session and payment ids, the email you gave Stripe, the amount and the download count, for as long as the licence exists, so we can honour re-downloads and refunds.
